My apologies if this post is not appropriate but I didn’t know where else to look. I tried Upwork, Freelancer, etc, but the developers I found are not familiar with Piklist.

I’ve looked at other CPT/taxonomy solutions but Piklist seems more powerful, more flexible, and less bloated (I just don’t have the php chops to bring it to life -yet).

Looking for someone to help me build a personal database. No fancy graphics, or unreasonable amount of css. I just need it functional.

I’ve got other projects coming so I’m kinda looking for my “go-to” piklist person.

What are you trying to do, exactly?

I need a personal database for vehicle maintenance, home inventory, medical visits, and to keep a log of important events and conversations that take place over time such as disputes, tax issues, etc. I’d also like to attach documents and record notes for each post type.

I’d like the ability to search for records by date, post type, taxonomy, etc, and tally the sum total of asset value at the bottom of the page (which would change dynamically based on the filter). And if possible (since my non-techie family will use this too), is the ability to add, edit, delete records from the front-end.

    Hello @cybermind75

I’m one of the contributors of Piklist, and if you’re looking for paid assistance then feel free to email me at [email protected] to talk a bit more about what you’re looking for. My agency isn’t cheap, but we get it done right the first time. But it sounds like you have some fun ideas for Piklist! 🙂

If, however, you’re looking for free or cheap solutions, then I’d encourage you to keep digging into PHP, as that seems to be a goal of yours. You can then get support on this forum as you come up to specific roadblocks and someone here, I’m sure, will be happy to help. Always great to learn!
